Title: One Night in Busan
Pairing: YunJae
Rating: NC-17
Length: Within 10 chapters
Genre: AU, Fluff, Romance
Important: This is AU but HoMin are TVXQ and JYJ never existed. Basically the only non-AU thing about it. EVERYTHING about this fic is super freaking AU… I just can’t get BLOND BLOND BLOND out of my fucking head. Also, characters may be a little OOC but it’s fiction and AU and just roll with it, ok?
Disclaimer: I don't own anything apart from the story. Please don't kill me.

Summary: It was meant to be a one time thing, and it takes Yunho a while to realize that a one time thing for him means exactly that.

AN: So I hear the ship is still sailing into the sunset. Same sunnies? Same jacket? Secret hickies? Oh it’s never dull in fandom, is it?

ONIB 6a

Jaejoong doesn’t even bat an eyelid, rubbing his nose against what bare skin of Yunho’s chest he can get, he just stares at the newcomer.

Yunho’s reaction is a little more alarmed, clutching reflexively at the teenager’s ass and making the boy smile.

“Well?”

“Well, what?”

“What’s going on?”

“Nothing.”

“Yes, I can see nothing is going on,” Heechul’s gaze drops pointedly to Yunho’s hand in the back of Jaejoong’s pants.

“Then why are you asking?”

The man huffs irritatedly as he settles down on the couch opposite them. “You two really need to learn what’s appropriate and what isn’t.”

Yunho starts laughing then, his sharp bark of laughter making Jaejoong chuckle as he tightens his arms around the older man’s waist.

“You?” He manages to spit out before dissolving into laughter again. “Y-you are t-trying to t-tell me what’s ap-ap-appropriate?”

“Hey, at least I didn’t fuck with the door wide open with guests still in the house. Thanks for the visual by the way. Your pretty little angel is one hell of a devil.” Heechul snaps back.

Yunho’s jaw drops open as Jaejoong leans back away from him, shaking his head, as he clicks his tongue disapprovingly at the Super Junior trouble maker.

“I don’t think we can be friends. You suck at keeping secrets.”

“I’m keeping you a secret, aren’t I?” Heechul retorts. “And my dear angel, my loyalties lie with your husband. You can silence Changmin with a coy smile but I was smiling like that before you were even born so it’s rather wasted on me.”

“It’s wasted on you in any case since I’m not exactly your type.”

“Why not?”

“I’m prettier,” Jaejoong declares haughtily.

Heechul’s mouth drops open as Yunho finally processes enough of the conversation to speak.

“He saw us and you knew?”

Jaejoong turns back to his husband, his smirk sliding off, shrugging as he brushes away more imaginary lint from his chest. “It wasn’t a big deal.”

“Not a big deal?” Yunho is practically strangling on the words.

Jaejoong’s wrinkles his nose as he gazes at the man whose brow is so knitted he is actually compelled to reach out to smooth it out.

Yunho avoids his touch though, his scowl deepening which for some reason, irritates the teenager.

“Oh for fuck’s sake.” Jaejoong hops off Yunho’s lap, backing away to sit next to Heechul instead who surprisingly makes room for the teenager. “It’s not like he hasn’t see you naked.”

“Good point,” Heechul acknowledges, but he is cut off before he can continue.

“It’s not me, I care about!” Yunho practically roars, still utterly disconcerted by the image in his mind of what the man saw. “What the hell, Jaejoong?”

Now it is Jaejoong’s turn to have knitted eyebrows, his confusion growing by the second. “If it’s not you that you care about then why are you yelling at me? He already saw me naked in the hallway earlier. Why is this any different?”

“I didn’t actually see anything except your legs earlier.” Heechul adds somewhat gleefully, deciding against telling Yunho that he personally didn’t see anything past the arrow to paradise on the boy’s back in the bedroom. He knows Changmin didn’t either.

“Not helping, hyung,” Jaejoong hisses out of the corner of his mouth.

“I already told you where my loyalties lie.” Heechul smirks, thoroughly enjoying the expression on Yunho’s face. He’s always had a suspicion that Yunho has possessive tendencies. The way he is with Changmin is testament enough to that. He doesn’t really like it when the younger man gets too far from his side and he gets edgy when the man’s attention gets monopolized too much away from him, and the list goes on. He is not very overt about it, but there is this palpable sense of possession emanating from Yunho when it comes to his TVXQ partner. Up until just over a year ago, the two men used to live together, and they are close enough for even industry insiders to refer to Changmin as Yunho’s wife, much to both men’s irritation. There are scores of television interviews where they can be seen bickering like an old married couple, and at one point, even Yunho himself complained that it felt like he had a wife.

Some write it off as fan service, while others treat their relationship as being more than what it seems, but neither would be right. It’s just the way Yunho and Changmin are. Neither are the kind to pander to fan service and when they are made to, the awkwardness is very obvious. Nor is there anything more between them than a familial type of love. They know each other far too well for any type of romantic relationship to be sustainable for there would be no spark. They may argue against it, but both are predictable as hell. They like things a certain way, and get annoyed when something fucks it up, and they’ve lived too long with each other to be able to change the other.

Yunho’s habits are somewhat neater now thanks to the tall young man, but that’s about it.

And Changmin might be a smidgen more tactful.

Maybe.

They are not nicknamed twinshinki for nothing for they really are practically identical twins, and he’s not just talking in height.

So it amuses Heechul greatly to find the kind of havoc a certain angel has wreaked on the perfectly ordered life of the very predictable U-Know Yunho.

He’s straight, they say.

He is careful and isn’t at all spontaneous, they say.

He puts his career before anything and anyone, they say.

Well, they can say whatever they want. The proof to the contrary is sitting, bristling right next to him.

“Are you angry with me?” Jaejoong questions incredulously as that strange fire in Yunho’s eyes hasn’t quite dissipated and it’s directed at him.

“Yes— No— Yes. I don’t know!” Yunho leans forward, elbows on his knees as he cards his hair agitatedly. He really cannot shake the image of Jaejoong being seen in all his naked glory, and the fact of that is just making him that little itty bitty bit irrational. He can deal with Jaejoong’s past, because it’s the past and there’s nothing he can do about it, but surely he can do something about the present. The boy seems allergic to clothes and while it is wonderful for Yunho, he’s going to die from hypertension if he doesn’t change the passcode on his apartment door.

“You have got to be kidding me,” Jaejoong mutters, as he unfolds himself from next to Heechul, shooting the older man such a withering glare that the Super Junior diva actually flinches. He walks back over to Yunho, placing palm on his shoulder and shoving him backwards till he is once again leaning on the couch. He sits astride his lap, cupping the older man’s jaw, eyes flashing warningly. “Don’t do this.”

“What?”

“This possessive bastard act. Don’t do this. With a face like mine, do you really think I’ve never come across it before? Trust in those papers and trust that I will honor them. I know you may not know me but street kids have their own fucking code of honor and I am not going to sit here and let you trample all over it.”

“What’s going on?”

Yunho growls at the new voice. “I need to fucking change that passcode right the fuck now.”

Changmin shrugs, dropping his bag on the floor before sitting next to Heechul. “That’s a good idea. You don’t want BoA walking in on you two now do we?”

“You too?” Yunho’s eyes are so huge and round in his face he honestly looks comical as hell. He grabs Jaejoong about the waist, shifting him slightly so he can see Changmin. “You saw him in the bedroom?”

“We saw both of you.” Yunho’s expression darkens and Changmin qualifies his statement quickly. “But we didn’t see anything, I promise! Jaejoong’s face was too distracting and then you came and we really didn’t want to stick around after that. We didn’t see anything except his tattoos.”

Yunho’s mouth is working, but nothing comes out. He can read truth in Changmin’s eyes and words for the man is not fond of dissembling. He’d volunteered the information too quickly to have made up a lie.

“And, hyung…” Changmin smirks. “…Angel? Really? I think he’s the Devil more than anything though it’s good to know you love him so you can stop giving me those sappy words, and I now have ammunition to tease you with. Who would’ve thought you were practicing with me all those years to finally say it to the man you love.” He continues on blithely, ignoring all the looks being sent his way, three different voices shouting at him mentally to shut the fuck up. “I knew it was love at first sight with how inseparable you two were but I didn’t realize you were free enough to say it out loud. Have I congratulated you on the marriage yet? I guess now it’s a good time as any. Just don’t expect me to bow because I can’t be bothered. You know how I feel, and that’s enough. Congratulations!”

“I thought you wanted me to get an annulment?” Yunho blurts out without thinking, too surprised at Changmin’s congratulatory words especially since he had to defend Jaejoong against the man earlier that day.

“What!?”

Yunho shakes his head immediately, as he pulls Jaejoong against him, wrapping his arms quickly around the shocked teenager and kissing his temple. “Because of work. I’m so fucked and in a lot of trouble because of this so it seemed the easy way out but it’s not happening.”

Jaejoong wrenches himself backwards, practically toppling off Yunho’s lap, eyes accusatory. “Why didn’t you say something? You let me think we can work this out and then I find out you wanted an annulment the whole time? Of course you don’t want a fucking annulment now after you came five times because of me. You don’t love me. That’s your dick talking. You’re a bastard.” The teenager scrambles quickly to his feet and runs out of the room.

“Fucking hell.” Yunho gets up, chasing after him immediately.

“Five times?” Heechul gapes.

“Five times again you mean,” Changmin grumbles in disgust. “Maybe I should look for a barely legal teenager instead of dating a noona. Five times each fucking time they are in each other’s presence.”

“Vic is gonna kill you if she hears that.”

“Who’s going to tell her? You don’t even talk to her, and besides, it’s not even a real relationship.”

“Sure it isn’t. That explains going to her house for dinner without anyone else. The whole idea of a fake relationship is for all the relationship crap to happen in public, not for your fellow label mates to find out about it the same way the rest of the world did—through your insane fans. Who the fuck would think to search for a reflection in a spoon? In a motherfucking spoon! That level of insanity is just too much.”

“Which begs the question doesn’t it? How long can hyung keep this a secret?”

Heechul starts cackling quietly, smothering his urge to laugh louder as he smirks. “If he doesn’t fix his unfortunate slip, it doesn’t have to be a secret because I can see his fiery blond burning up their marriage papers in the middle of their bed right now.”

“Their bed? You’re attaching possessive pronouns to him rather quickly.”

“You saw the exact same thing I did. That blond owns Yunho whether our leadershii wants to admit it or not.”

“He’s so fucked.”

“Five times, and counting.”

“Jaejoong! Jaejoong, wait!”

Yunho takes the stairs two, even three at a time, but the teenager has a reasonably good head start and the slamming door when he hits the top of the stairs cements that fact.

“Goddammit.” Yunho growls, running towards his now shut bedroom door. He doesn’t bother trying the lock, banging on the door instead and demanding Jaejoong open it.

To his shock, the door flies open and an angry blond practically spits at him. “The door was unlocked, you fool. I’m not going to lock you out of your own fucking room.” He turns on his heel, heading straight back into the closet where he’d been heading in the first place.

“Where are you going?”

“To do what I should have done back in Busan and now I will.”

“Why the fuck are you mad at me when you were going to do the same thing?”

Yunho has him there.

Jaejoong pauses in the doorway of the closet, squeezing his eyes shut as he braces his arms against the door frame. He counts to five.

Not quite enough.

He counts to ten.

Still not enough.

Seventeen works.

He opens his eyes, pivoting on his heel as he stares at Yunho whose expression is a tad defensive.

“I wanted to do it to free you. You wanted to do it to free yourself.”

“So your earlier reason is better than mine, so what? What’s your reason now, and don’t tell me it’s to free me because we both know it’s a lie. I don’t want to be freed.”

Jaejoong’s jaw sets mutinously, glaring at the older man as he folds his arms across his chest.

“There’s no room for silence in a relationship. Talk to me.”

“And you know so much about relationships, do you? How’s your relationship with BoA going? Oh wait, you cheated on her and then married the person you cheated with. Don’t talk to me about fucking relationships, Yunho. You’re fucked up.”

“We’re not dating.”

“So why the fuck did Heechul hyung talk about you two getting married, huh? Right now I am more inclined to believe him over you.”

“Then you’d be stupid.” Yunho takes a step forward, wincing at the flare of anger in the teenager’s eyes. Alright so he has no idea how to deal with a teenager, let alone one this explosive. All the teenagers he knows practical kowtow at his feet when he walks past. This is a complete 180 degree opposite.

“Of course I’m stupid. The stupidest thing I ever did was to come here to find you to ask you why you left me.” Jaejoong’s eyes widen in horror as the words leave his mouth. He hadn’t meant to say that at all. He’d wanted to say the marriage was his stupidest mistake, and now he sounds like a pathetic teenager wanting this man’s affection.

He decides to make a run for it, dashing towards the shut bedroom door, but Yunho is fast.

The older man snags him before he’d even gained five feet, and the struggle would make Heechul and Changmin proud.

“Calm down, baby.”

“I’m not your baby!”

“Angel.”

“Shut up, Yunho.”

“Husband.”

“Asshole.”

They hit the bed, toppling into it in a mess of flailing arms. Jaejoong hadn’t been prepared though, and gets the wind knocked out of him especially since his lumbering jack ass of a husband lands right on top of him.

“Get off me.”

“Get off on you? I don’t know if I can go a sixth time, babe. I don’t want to make a fool of myself.” Yunho deliberately misunderstands, but he really shouldn’t have because therein is where Jaejoong’s insecurities lie.

“That’s all I am, aren’t I? A cheap lay.” Jaejoong struggles, pushing at the heavier man, his eyes pricking with tears he will die before shedding. “Get the fuck off me before I make you a eunuch.”

Yunho realizes his mistake when he sees the shimmer in the blond’s eyes, and he is nothing if not a quick learner. Leaning off to the side, he gives Jaejoong some breathing space, but he keeps a heavy thigh across the teenager’s slim legs, anchoring him there as he catches a punch from the boy, holding his wrist tight.

“Let go.”

“I can’t.”

“You mean, you won’t.”

“No.” Yunho’s voice is quiet. “I really can’t.”

Jaejoong stays silent, the fight having left him the second they hit the bed. He stares up at the ceiling, wondering for the umpteenth time why the fuck he came all this way only to have his heart shattered. Yunho is confusing him, and he hates being confused.

They lie in silence for several minutes as the teenager gathers the courage to speak.

“Why did you go?” Jaejoong finally asks.

Yunho sighs, staring at the exposed collarbones of the boy’s creamy skin. He knows he cannot put this off a second time. He owes his husband that much.

“Would you believe me if I told you I had no memory of you when I woke up?”

“Ouch.”

Yunho squeezes the boy’s hip, shaking his head. “I remember most of it now, but that afternoon I left, I honestly had no true recollection of you. I remember being with someone, and initially I even thought it was a girl till Changmin told me otherwise.”

“Double ouch.”

Yunho heart aches at the flat tone of Jaejoong’s voice, and he squeezes his hip once again.

“I told you, I remember it all.”

“You said most of it, not all.”

“I remember enough.”

“Enough for?”

“Enough to know that I mean it when I said…” Yunho trails off as the words catch in his throat.

“When you said?” Jaejoong finally turns his head to look at his husband. The man is biting his lip and the teenager knows he won’t be getting those words any time soon.

“When I said…”

“When you said…”

“When I said…” Yunho is desperately trying to finish his sentence, but looking into Jaejoong’s troubled brown eyes, the words die in his throat, and it burns right to his very soul.

“You’re not going to say it.” Jaejoong whispers, his tone is resigned. “I know you can’t. You’ve only said it during or after sex. Can you see why I cannot believe you? I might be a teenager but I’m not stupid. I know how the world works, and I know how the world works around a face like mine. No one’s ever really interested in me past my face and body. I thought you might be different because you married me before anything really happened, but I guess I was wrong.”

“No.” Yunho shakes his head vehemently. “I don’t know why I can’t say it now, but I meant those words, Jaejoong. You heard Changmin. I’ve never said them to anyone but him.”

“Why didn’t you marry him then?” Jaejoong asks grouchily.

Yunho shudders, trying to mind the thin line between joking and being serious. “After knowing him for over a decade, I can safely say marrying him would be the last thing I do. I might love him, but half the time I don’t even like him. He nags too much.” Yunho pouts, trying to cheer the teenager up. His words are not serious, mainly playful and he hopes the boy can pick up on it.

“What if I’m naggy too? You don’t even know what kind of person I am.”

“Then let me get to know you. I want to know you, Jaejoong. Don’t leave me before you know me.”

“It was you who left me.”

“You’re going to have to forgive me for that sooner rather than later. Don’t you know any grievances you want to bring up in an argument has an expiry date of one week? If it happened more than a week ago, you’re not allowed to bring it up again.”

“Who thought up this stupid rule?”

“A happily married woman.”

“Hah! I’m not a woman.”

“Fair point. Make your own rules then, Jaejoong. I will abide by them.”

Jaejoong thinks about this seriously. Yunho forgot about him. That really bites, but it explains a lot. He wonders why the man wanted to tell him after getting home from the radio show though since it really wasn’t that long an explanation. Instead of keeping silent and his thoughts in his head, Jaejoong decides to take Yunho’s suggestion and talk to him.

“Why did you want to tell me what happened in Busan after we got back from the radio show? It wasn’t a long explanation at all.”

“Oh, that,” Yunho’s tone and expression turn sheepish. “I don’t think any woman would be happy with being told she was forgotten, so I figured I’d be spending the rest of the night making it up to you.”

Hoping you’d be spending the rest of the night making it up to me, you mean?” Jaejoong teases lightly. “I’m not a woman, Jung Yunho. You better start remembering that,” he adds more seriously. “Whatever and however you assume I’m going to react, and if your basis is a woman, please discard it. Take your own advice. There’s no room for silence in a relationship, and let me add one more. There’s no room for assumptions in a relationship. Test your theory and speak up.”

“You’re a quick learner aren’t you?” Yunho asks ruefully, tickling the smooth skin over the teenager’s waist.

“Very quick. I had to be quick to survive, so don’t worry about me being stupid, for even if I was, I won’t be for long.”

Yunho chuckles, hand slipping underneath Jaejoong’s top to stroke across his warm abdomen. He leans forward for a kiss, but is thwarted by two fingers to his lips and serious doe eyes.

“I guess this brings me to my rules.”

“I’m starting to get a sinking feeling about them.” Yunho mumbles, Jaejoong’s fingers still on his lips.

“Rule number one—“

“Please, don’t tell me.” Yunho closes his eyes, wincing because he has a pretty damn good idea.

“No sex.”

AN1: So very many of you thought it was BoA. I never intended it to be BoA. Aren’t you glad it wasn’t BoA? Hahaha!

am glad of the no sex rule actually..these 2 really need to know each other better. they seriously need to talk.
my heart is breaking for jae..it's no surprise that he doubt yunho's love :'(

thank you for the update ^^

have a good rest^^
rules...they make you or break you...

Oooohhh Poor Yunho. Love the drama.I thought it was BoA Too ;)

/daebak, another chapter so fast =o/
no sex Jae? puffff yeah right
I really wanna see when Yunho revels his marriage to the world, it's gonna be interesting...
anyway, great chapter (as usual) and I can't get enough of this blonde angel~~ ^^

I think this Jae just might be my favorite of all of them. He seems very, very feisty, and Yunho just might be the only one to be able to keep this fire ball in line.
On another note, I am so sorry that you have wound up hospitalized again. Hope you start to feel better soon again.

OMG! Their relationship grows so complicated and yet so hot...
What I like very much in this fic is that Jaejoong is not exactly a victim (as he is in most fics) but a wise teenager. He has more life experience than Yunho, even if Yunho is older. What Jaejoong doesn't know is that they cannot be separated (not in the fics anyway). Their match is made in Heaven. So they have to find a way to stay together... and live happily ever after.
So, author-ssi, help them out. :)

Fuhhh... It's not boa yet.. Oh well.. Will be waiting.. Take a nice rest!!! Thank you qnd take care!!!

I am sooooooo glad it wasn't Boa. Yeah ... Guilty of thinking it was Boa.

No sex????? That'll be hard.

I am so glad to hear you are feeling better! When I saw you had switched your Twitter to private I got worried that you had gotten worse. Rest well! Thanks for the update. I really love this story ... and LITI and AINI and ... oh, just make it everything you write. Oh, and given Jae's tweet to Junsu maybe that hickey isn't from Yunho. LOL

Oh the forst quarrel as a married couple, congratulation to Jung Yunho and Jaejoong!
Sadly, there wouldn't be a make-up sex according rule number one. Lol

I was thinking it was their manager! Yunho better does not forget that door code needs to be changed or once in a time he would not be so lucky

Edited at 2013-11-10 07:03 pm (UTC)

Lmao..I seriously have a feeling that jae's rule is gonna backfire soon...but i guess it would do good to the story if he sticks to his rule..;))

oh my God! i really thought it'sBoA and yes i'm glad it'not her! dying for the nxt part!!!tnx for the update!

You're really an amazing writer. You just live and breathe fanfics. Truly commendable.

Hahaha, Jaejoong's first rule
