One Night in Busan [8a]
Title: One Night in Busan
Pairing: YunJae
Rating: NC-17
Length: Only god knows at this point thanks to JaeMin
Genre: AU, Fluff, Romance
Important: This is AU but HoMin are TVXQ and JYJ never existed. Basically the only non-AU thing about it. EVERYTHING about this fic is super freaking AU… I just can’t get BLOND BLOND BLOND out of my fucking head. Also, characters may be a little OOC but it’s fiction and AU and just roll with it, ok?
Disclaimer: I don't own anything apart from the story. Please don't kill me.

Summary: It was meant to be a one time thing, and it takes Yunho a while to realize that a one time thing for him means exactly that.

AN: Short chapter is very short…so far :P

Jaejoong has been awake for a good long while.

At least an hour by his reckoning.

Alcohol knocks him out, but it doesn’t keep him asleep. The urge to piss is too great and tends to wake him within three to four hours.

Unfortunately for him, his memory works fine too, and this is why he cannot go back to sleep.

Slipping out of bed had been easy, for both Yunho and Changmin are on their backs. Jaejoong had woken to find himself on Changmin’s shoulder, and while surprised for a second, the memory crashes down on him quickly, and he smothers any sound he’d been about to make at finding himself drooling on the arm of the younger half of TVXQ instead of the older.

Neither budge from their identical positions on their backs with an arm thrown over their faces when he gets out of bed.

Twinshinki are practically mirror images of each other in slumber.

He doesn’t bother with the main bathroom, leaving the bedroom quietly and heading back downstairs to the guest bedroom.

His bedroom really.

There is probably a damn good reason why he’s sleeping separately from his husband but in that moment with his bladder about to burst, Jung Jaejoong really doesn’t give a flying fuck to try to figure out the reason as he makes his way quickly to the bathroom.

Jaejoong cleans up quickly, deciding at the very last minute that he wants a shower.

Unlike the previous times he’s been wet in this apartment, this shower is quick and to the point.

Get in, get wet, get clean, get dry.

There’s no time for anything else because he is too busy trying to clear the fog in his mind.

At least, he hopes it’s a fog.

He remembers most, if not everything. There is a slightly smoky haze over the memories though that makes him hope that maybe he dreamed up half the stuff, but then again, he really doesn’t think he dreamed snuggling with his husband’s wife.

The way he wakes is certainly testament to the fact that it isn’t a dream.

Jaejoong digs up another pair of pants, not bothering with a top nor underwear as he saunters back out slowly in the dimly lit apartment. The stairway light is on, sending it’s light around the relatively open plan duplex, but the light can’t really bend around corners and he finds himself in the relative darkness of the kitchen.

The shadows on the stove indicate that no one has bothered to put away the food he’d slaved over, but then again, he never really expects them to.

However, he is in for a surprise for although the pots and pans are still on the stove, they are gleaming, empty of food and washed and dried and simply waiting to be put away. A look in the fridge reveals that the food has indeed been packed away neatly in what looks like every available bowl or plate that Yunho owns for the fridge is absolutely crammed.

Jaejoong makes a mental note to buy storage containers because bowls and bowls and bowls of food is really not going to cut it.

“How fucking domestic,” he mutters, his voice loud in the empty kitchen. He reaches into the open fridge to grab a bottle of soju. He knows he probably shouldn’t and should probably grab a bowl of ddeokbukki instead but he is thirsty and water isn’t going to cut it.

He pops open the lid easily before taking a hefty swallow before he drops the bottle onto the counter and leans forward, stretching his upper body over the cool granite and laying his cheek against the gleaming dark surface.

Memories assault him.

Rapid memories, one after another.

He stretches both hands to reach the edge of the counter, curling his fingers around the granite, gripping hard as his memories fill his cock and he groans.

Perhaps it’s time to re-examine why he decided on the no sex rule.

Jaejoong straightens, taking another large swallow of his drink, swaying slightly on the balls of his feet as he leans forward, closing his eyes as he tries to figure out his reasons.

He doesn’t want Yunho to only be with him for sex.

He doesn’t want it to be just about their attraction to each other.

He is still self-conscious about his face and the affect it has on other people.

But Jung Yunho isn’t other people.

It’s pretty fucking hilarious really, to be so beautiful that he shouldn’t have any self-esteem issues, but yet it happens because he never ever knows whether a person likes him just for his face or something beyond that. Having been abandoned so young, he’s always cynical about the motivations of people when it comes to him.

He wonders about whether had he been as beautiful as a child as he is now, would he have been left at the orphanage?

Was he such a difficult baby that his parents thought it would be easier to live without him?

He is so used to being alone and relying on no one but himself.

Jung Jaejoong has no idea how to be married. He barely knows what being an adult is like since he’s only just turned 18.

But Jung Jaejoong knows one thing though.

There is something about Jung Yunho.

What that something is can be anyone’s guess since he himself can’t quite put a finger on it, but Yunho doesn’t make him feel like he’s only in it for his face or the sex. When he thinks it or vocalizes it, that is simply Jaejoong’s insecurities being projected. He is self-aware enough to realize this, but not quite able to figure out what to do to manage it apart from the rules he’s laid down for his husband.

Rules that Yunho had been willing to comply with.

What does that say about the man?

Granted, it hasn’t been that long since he’s even mentioned the rules in the first place, but the fact that Yunho hasn’t pushed him or argued, or told him he’s being a silly immature teenager (which he actually feels at times) gives him a margin of confidence.

A margin that he should really work with instead of smothering it under a pile of insecurities.

Jaejoong believes he is attractive.

Hell, he uses it to his advantage when it matters and quite shamelessly at that. He needed to use whatever means he has at his disposal in order to survive, and his looks are the one thing he has going for him. He is also a very hard worker, but then no one can really ascertain that at a first meeting.

He just doesn’t believe that anyone would be interested in anything else beyond skin level. His personality is more porcupine than kitten, and it’s kept people away. It’s not so much that he is a naturally ornery creature, but rather, when you’re so used to living hand to mouth at times, you become hard thanks to the harsh realities of the world. You get irritated over simple things because of the way others take for granted and you know for a fact that it is something difficult to get. Most of his acquaintances are more well off than him, and it’s not so much that he resents the fact that they’re better off, but the fact that they really should be more thankful for what they have. He doesn’t tell them to be thankful of course, but he gets naturally snippy, which is really unfortunate because it just gives people the impression that he’s difficult and a diva when he really isn’t one. He just can’t seem to shake off the chip on his shoulder. The only one harmed by his behavior is himself, for he doesn’t communicate his irritation.

Then again he is also a natural loner, so the idea of communicating doesn’t really sit well with him anyway.

He drains the rest of the bottle, pressing the still cool glass against his cheek as he wonders about whether to grab another bottle or to head back upstairs to his rightful place. He gets annoyingly insightful into himself when he drinks sometimes and he figures he probably should face it and get it over and done with. It can’t hurt now can it?

The blond turns to open the fridge again, contemplating the bowls of food.

Jaejoong never ever assumes he will be having meat with dinner.

He barely assumes he will be having meat in general.

It’s a simply example, but that’s the reality of his life before Yunho.

The teenager still remembers how horrified he’d been at the supermarket with Heechul hyung and BoA noona.

He barely gets that kind of money to spend in a month, let alone in one morning at the supermarket. He knows his husband is really fucking rich, but Jaejoong will be damned if he takes advantage of that fact. He is more likely to give away any money given to him rather than use it for himself. He enjoys nice things, and his clothes are testament to that, but he will never ever pay full price for anything of the sort. He knows exactly what it takes to earn 1,000 won, and just because he’s practically married to money doesn’t mean he’s going to forget that lesson.

Jaejoong has a sinking feeling that people are going to think that he married Yunho for his money though. The whole concept is so fucking laughable he doesn’t even know where to begin with that line of thought.

Marrying anyone for their money is probably the last thing Jaejoong would do, for he has seen how people with money behave. They are entitled pricks who think they can buy their fucking way out of anything and everything. He’s had more than his fair share of assholes who think he can be bought and every single moneyed person he’s ever met has been a dick on a sliding scale of asshole.

Yunho’s level of moneyed though is nothing he has ever come across, and yet Yunho is nowhere even close to giving him the instinctive goosebumps he gets around people with what he perceives as having too much.

His husband isn’t an ass, nor is he entitled. He does strut a little, but then again if you look like Jung Yunho you’d strut too. He doesn’t think it has anything to do with his wealth. Yunho’s home is also testament to that. The man isn’t attached to anything material, the furniture is all functional and bought for him, including the bed in the master bedroom.

Chosen and bought by Shim Changmin.

Jaejoong sighs, deciding to grab a bottle of beer instead of a bowl of food when that other man enters his mind.

Heechul’s words are resounding in his head.

”This is why you need the wife on your side, for if he believes you worth protecting, it’s a done deal.”

He pops the beer open, taking a swig before wiping his mouth with the back of his hand.

What to do about the wife?

He contemplates in the darkness, not feeling the slightest bit sleepy or even tipsy.

“He won’t choose me, Jae.”

Jaejoong can remember the tinge of sadness in the older man’s voice.

He doesn’t want to get between Yunho and Changmin.

And yet, he also doesn’t want to be married to two men.

He exhales loudly in the silent kitchen.

“What do I do?”

The darkness mocks him, and he imagines he can hear an echo of his question.

”I do… I do… I do…”

A mockery of his vows.

He finishes his bottle of beer slowly, a half-baked plan forming in his mind.

Jaejoong needs to settle at least one thing once and for all before he has any idea on how to move forward.

And while he can probably believe words, he doesn’t know either Yunho or Changmin enough to be able to ascertain for sure that their words are true.

So he needs action.

Calculative and possibly manipulative on his part, but he needs to know.

His plan is simple, perhaps too simple.

But the teenager is not in any state to examine it even deeper than he already has. He is stubborn and his mind is made up that this has to happen, and so he will do it.

He is eighteen isn’t he?

Jaejoong grabs his now two empty bottles, placing them into the recycling bin before he goes to the guest bedroom to get what he needs before heading back above stairs.

A lot of lube.

AN1: Believe it or not, the start of this chapter is actually my very first attempt at ch8. Guess I should’ve just stuck with it instead of letting JaeMin duke it out like the irritating muses that they are. That start was solely driven by Jaejoong, I just let Changmin put in his two cents worth and it threw everything into chaos

AN2: Let’s see how much y’all trust me… don’t send me asks about where this is going because I won’t answer them.

I forgot to say something so I'm gonna add it here..
Please, PLEASE, give a warning if you're going to give us a threesome in the next chapter. That's all I ask. While some people think it's hot, there is some people that can't bear reading it.
Thank you Nik..and I'm sorry if I offended you in any way. You're always free to write whatever you want ofc, a warning is all I'm asking for.
